The apprentice scheme has run for a number of years and goals to help early-career instrumentalists and singers with a package deal of help throughout our summer time pageant in August.
Annually we choose a string quartet to be resident on the Pageant. Over 6 days, the string gamers obtain teaching from our workforce of high chamber music specialists together with our Affiliate Creative Director, violinist Jamie Campbell. The quartet additionally has the chance to current their very own 60-minute recital and carry out alongside the primary orchestra in a collection of main-stage live shows. Current resident quartets embrace the Asaka Quartet from the Royal Academy of Music and the Aestus Quartet from the Royal Northern School of Music.
